The Department of Commerce becomes a part of Education plan of our College from its very inception. It is twenty one year old. The high demand for the course brings high competition for admission every year. The students from poor economic background get affordable chance to join in a commerce degree course and come out as graduates.

A mile stone was crossed in the year July 2007. The P.G. Department of Commerce was added with the Commerce Department. It has computer Application specilisation. We proudly say that we are the only oftener of this course in Kanyakumari District out of seventeen Arts and Science Colleges of the district. The M.Com. (Computer Application) students get training as Masters in Commerce and Masters in Computer Science simultaneously. They are eligible to be placed in It Industries and Multinational companies.

We conduct value addition certificate courses for both UG and PG students with the tie-up of Konam Government Polytechnique.

We are conducting spoken English classes for all the students and make all the students to speak in English. Special placement training and motivation training programme by inviting our old student and expert who were will placed. By this effort we make our students placement fit.

• Passed Accountancy or Commerce Group in +2 with first class in preferred.
• Passed in Accountancy / Commerce Group in +2.
• Passed in any Group in +2

M.Com (Computer Application) - I Year

• Passed in B.Com from M.S. University with first class in preferred.
• Passed in B.Com from any other University with first class
• Passed in B.Com.

B.Com I Year

• Passed +2 with 700 marks and above – Normal fees Rs.4100/-.
• Passed +2 with 600 marks and above but below 700 marks – Rs.4500/-.
• Passed +2 with less than 600 marks – Rs. 5500/-

M.Com (Computer Application) - I Year

• For all the students Rs.8500/-
