The department of Mathematics was started in the year 1987. Sanctioned strength of the course is 40 + 4. Our department chases the placement related subjects every year. Many of our old students are placed in good jobs such as Software Engineers, College Lecturers and so on. Even though must of our student hair from the rural background, they become the placement fit students at the end of the final year, because of our hard word, special coaching and individual care etc.

Computers Literacy programme, M.S. Office, D.T.P. and Hard ware training are also conducted, with the tie up of Govt. Polytechnique Konam and Govt. Certificates are issued to the successful students.

We conducted the spoken English class for all our students and department placement training programme are also conducted for our students as placement fit.

Fees deduction is granted on meritorious students. The course fees is Rs.3680/- (Three thousand six hundred and eighty only) per semester for each student. No capitation fee will be collected.
